Prom 61: Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra
Amsterdam’s finest, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, under its mercurial Latvian maestro Mariss Jansons plays twice. In this first concert when Sibelius’s First Symphony and Ravel’s ‘Daphnis et Cloé Suite No 2’ is punctuated by the mezzo Magdalena Kozená singing Duparc songs.
